How I got here
I started playing around with my dad’s film camera when I was in high school even though I had no idea how to use it. It wasn’t until a college darkroom class that I actually learned how, and somewhere between the smell of developer and my first perfect exposure, I was hooked.
Fast forward a few years, and friends started asking me to photograph their weddings. I was terrified, but said yes, and I’ve been doing it ever since.
What’s kept me here is how no two weddings are ever the same. The trends shift, the people are different, the emotions are new every time. I love challenging myself to evolve creatively while keeping my work consistent and timeless — the kind of photos that still feel beautiful ten years from now.
My couples describe me as calm, collected, and organized (accurate), but they also tell me I made the day fun. At the end of the day, I want you to look back on your photos and remember how good it all felt — not how hard you had to pose for it.
Beyond the Camera
When I’m not photographing weddings, I’m usually at home living out my introvert dreams — coffee in hand, family nearby, and probably reorganizing something that doesn’t need to be reorganized.
I live in Sonoma with my husband, two kids, and our three-legged cat. We love a good weekend getaway (Carmel and Santa Barbara are two of our favorites), but most days you’ll find me treasure hunting at thrift stores or refinishing some piece of furniture I swore I'd sell.
It doesn’t take much to make me happy — good coffee, a slow morning with my family, and a thrift store that hasn’t been picked over yet.
